Andrea Albertin receive his diplomas in Organ and Composition in 1996 with M° Giovanni Feltrin, and, in 1999 after studies with M° Paolo Ballarin, he also gained his Piano diploma with the highest marks and commendations. He took part in several conducting corse with Piero Bellugi and is a winner of prizes in National and International musical competitions as pianist and organist.
In may 1999 he made his debut as an orchestral conductor, with Stravinsky’s "Histoire du Soldat”, which was a success with both the pubblic and the critics. In 2002 in Cluj (Romania) he conducted a concert performance of Rossini’s "Il Barbiere di Siviglia” and many operatic and symphonic concerts. In summer 2003 he conducted many performances of "Aida”, "Il Trovatore” and "La Traviata” in Lituanian as well as concerts that included Brahms’ and Tchaikovsky’s 4th Symphonies.
In September 2004 he conducted a concert, in the Social Theater of Rovigo, with highlights of Verdi’s Un Ballo in Maschera and many other arias from lyric repertory. In December 2005 he has conducted the operetta "The Baron Gypsy" of J.Strauss in the Social Theater of Budrio (Bologna). In february 2006 he has conducted "Falstaff" of G.Verdi, a new production of the National Theater of Ostrava (Rep. Czech) followed by a lot of performances and broadcast "live” by Czech National Television. In April 2006 Otello of G.Verdi to the Social Theater of Budrio (Bologna). He has conducted the world famos tenor Giuseppe Giacomini in a concert for his 40 years of career. From 2004 to 2006 he has been assistant artistic director in the Teatro Sociale of Rovigo. May 2007 he was in Dublin to assist the conductor in "Don Pasquale” Donizetti’s comic opera. In november he have worked as assistant conductor by Teatro de Jerez de la Fronteira (Spain) for new production of Il Trovatore di G.Verdi. In December he has been in Taiwan for conduct four orchestral recitals with Taichung Symphony Orchestra and one with "Golden Stone” Youth orchestra (Mahler 1st Symphony, Strauss Don Juan and Till Eulenspiegel, Beethoven 4th and 7th Symphonies). In february 2008 he has conducted "Madama Butterfly” in National Theater of Tirana (Albania). He come back in Albania in novembre 2008 for conducting "Lucia di Lammermoor” Donizetti’s drama. In december 2008 ha has conducted various concerts in Seoul and other corean cityes with Puccini’s music. In january 2010 he comes back in Albania for conducting Puccini’s Manon Lescaut and a live television Opera Gala. In April 2010 he made a tournee in Korea with Mahler’s 4th Symphony. Recently he has conducted Verdi’s La Traviata in Vicenza and Rigoletto in National Theater of Timisoara (Romanian).
He worked alongside M° Gustav Kuhn at the Tiroler Festspiele 2003 and 2005 on the complete production of the Wagner’s "Ring” Cycle.
Andrea Albertin is the personal coach of Renato Bruson and collaborate frequently as accompanianist other famous world opera singers: Giuseppe Giacomini, Krjstian Johannssòn, Nicola Martinucci, Paolo Gavanelli, Katia Ricciarelli, Mara Zampieri, Chiara Taigi, Antonio Salvadori, Fabio Sartori, Paoletta Marrocu, Gustavo Porta, Silvio Zanon and in 2004, for a live BBC’s concert, Graciela Araya.
He attended a corse of high perfection for opera coach with Teatro alla Scala, where in September 2001 he worked as a rehearsal pianist on production of Verdi’s "Un giorno di regno”.
For some years he has been developing his roles of solo repetitor and stage musical director in important Italian Theatres in Pisa, Lucca, Ravenna, Rovigo, Bolzano, Trento, San Carlo Naples, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and in other states (Palma di Maiorca, Budapest, Dijon, Las Palmas). He has worked alongside Zubin Metha, Seji Ozawa and as assistant contuctor with James Colon.
